Lawyer registered with the Strasbourg Bar and a graduate of a DJCE as well as of the French-German Magisterium Business Lawyers, Mike began his career in 2007 at Mazars Société d’Avocats where he practices in the tax department.
A Luxembourgish national, Mike has a perfect command of English, German, Luxembourgish and French, which enables him to advise daily clients of both businesses and individuals in the field of international taxation.
Thanks to the close collaboration he maintains with the foreign offices of the Mazars Group, Mike’s expertise is particularly sought after in cross-border cases such as corporate acquisitions and restructurings, the structuring of intra-group flows or the establishment in France of foreign companies.
He has also acquired in-depth experience in personal and wealth taxation, particularly in areas such as international mobility (IR and ISF support, exit tax, stock options and other remuneration instruments for executives-managers, etc.) or even ‘optimization and transmission (donations, inheritances) of French and foreign heritage. Its expertise is reinforced by its mastery of foreign investment instruments (trusts, partnerships, foundations and others).
Finally, Mike runs a module each year on the tax aspects of transfers of family businesses as part of the Master II in Law and Heritage Management at the University of Strasbourg.
